Why doesn't Goldmax give instant online rates?
An instant rate is a guess about a truck that may not exist. Ours are written by a dispatcher who checks the lane against trucks we actually have, so the number you get is the number a real unit will run for.
How fast will I get a rate?
Usually inside one business hour. Expedited requests go straight to the dispatcher on duty and are answered on the call.
What information do you need for a rate?
Pickup and delivery locations, dates or appointment windows, commodity and weight, pallet count, and whether it is a one-time load or a recurring lane. Anything unusual about the dock helps too.
Do you quote lanes outside Chicago and Texas?
Yes, across the Midwest states we run daily and beyond when a truck is positioned for it. If we cannot cover a lane well, dispatch will tell you rather than quote it and hope.
Will the rate include fuel and accessorials?
Fuel is included as a stated surcharge, and any likely accessorials such as detention, layover or extra stops are listed on the quote. There is no broker margin and nothing added after the fact.
