Next-day Midwest freight

Next-day freight from Chicago and Dallas

Picked up today, delivered tomorrow, on a company truck

Nine Midwest states are within one driver’s legal day of our Elmhurst yard; the Texas triangle is within one day of Dallas. Next-day is not an expedite surcharge for us, it is the standard service on our regional lanes, planned in GMAT.ONE against real hours of service. Pickup time decides whether a lane is same-day, next-morning or next-day, and we tell you which before you tender.

How next-day runs

Planned against hours, not hoped for

01

Tender by 14:00

Send the load by email, EDI 204 or the quote form. GMAT.ONE checks the lane against drivers with enough hours to deliver tomorrow and confirms the window on the acceptance.

02

Pick up today

A driver based near the origin loads the same afternoon. Seal is logged, BOL photographed, and the tracking link is live before the truck leaves.

03

Deliver tomorrow

Appointment confirmed with the receiver, arrival stamped by geofence, POD sent the same day. If traffic or weather turns the math late, you hear it hours ahead, not at the dock.

Next-day freight questions

Is next-day service an expedite charge?

No. On our regional lanes next-day is the standard service and is priced as a contract or spot truckload rate. Expedited applies when a load needs team drivers or a same-day dispatch outside the metro.

What is the latest pickup for next-day delivery?

Generally 14:00 local for next-day markets; later pickups are confirmed case by case against the driver’s hours. Same-day metro pickups can run later.

Which markets are same-day rather than next-day?

Chicago metro, Milwaukee, Northwest Indiana and the Quad Cities from Elmhurst; Dallas–Fort Worth from Dallas. Indianapolis and Houston are same-day or next-morning depending on pickup time.

Do you offer next-day LTL?

Yes. Direct LTL rides the same next-day regional lanes on Goldmax trailers, loaded once at our dock.

Need it there tomorrow?

A dispatcher confirms the window and a truck within one business hour.
