Dedicated trucking services

Contract capacity on company equipment, planned around your facility

Dedicated freight is dispatched directly through our operations team and executed with company equipment. Customers receive live shipment visibility, exception notifications and a direct operations contact rather than working through a brokerage network. Trucks, trailers and drivers are assigned to your facility on your schedule under a contract that fixes capacity and price.

This service is ideal if you're shipping:

  • Plant-to-warehouse shuttles
  • Daily contract lanes with fixed volume
  • Yard and trailer spotting
  • Shippers who have had tenders rejected in tight markets
  • Facilities that want one accountable carrier
  • Multi-year capacity planning

How Goldmax dedicated freight shipping stands apart

Staying on top of shipping today means responding quickly to even the slightest shifts in the market. With a Goldmax dedicated program you get a collaborative carrier that owns its trucks and dispatches its own drivers, committed to keeping you ahead of the game rather than reacting to it.

Freight solutions tailored to your business

From service-sensitive freight, multi-stop routes and special driver requirements to filling backhauls or specialty equipment, our dedicated team works with you to design the program, then runs it on Goldmax trucks.

Capacity that flexes with your volume

Seasonal peaks and new lanes are absorbed from the same 89-truck fleet, with the weekly scorecard in GMAT.ONE showing utilization, dwell and cost per load so the program is re-sized on facts.

What shippers actually want to know

Twelve questions, answered with how we run it

No “reliable solutions tailored to your needs.” Each answer below is what happens operationally on a Goldmax dedicated account.

01

What equipment is available?

53ft air-ride dry vans and late-model tractors, all company-owned: 89 tractors and 120 trailers across two yards. Day cabs for shuttles, sleepers for corridor work. We do not run reefer or flatbed, and we say so before you build a program around us.

02

What geographic areas are strongest?

Chicago and the nine Midwest states one day out of Elmhurst (IL, IN, WI, OH, MI, IA, MN, MO, KY), Dallas–Fort Worth and the Texas triangle, and the Chicago–Texas corridor between them. Dedicated programs outside that footprint are possible but priced with repositioning in mind.

03

Can trailers be dropped?

Yes. Dedicated programs usually include a trailer pool sized to your dock flow so loading is not tied to a driver’s arrival. Pools are drawn from the 120-trailer fleet and every trailer carries GPS, so dwell and location show on your portal.

04

How does dedicated pricing work?

A fixed weekly or monthly charge for the committed trucks, trailers and drivers, plus a per-mile or per-load component for variable volume. Fuel is a stated surcharge. Detention is documented from geofence timestamps, not from memory, and the model is reviewed quarterly against the scorecard.

05

How quickly can capacity be scaled?

Adding a truck to an existing dedicated account takes days, not weeks, because drivers and equipment already exist in the fleet. Seasonal peaks are absorbed from the same 89 trucks; sustained increases become additional committed units at the next review.

06

Can you support daily volume?

Yes. Daily contract lanes are the core of what we do; the Chicago–Dallas corridor runs six days a week. High-volume dedicated accounts have had every tender accepted over the last 24 months.

07

Can you handle appointment freight?

Yes. Appointments are booked and confirmed in GMAT.ONE, arrival and departure are stamped by geofence, and our on-time pickup and delivery over 24 months on dedicated accounts are 98% and 99%.

08

Is freight brokered?

No. Dedicated freight is dispatched directly through our operations team and executed with company equipment and Goldmax drivers. Nothing is posted to a load board.

09

How does tracking work?

GPS on every tractor and trailer feeds GMAT.ONE. You get a tracking link with no login, automatic status by SMS or email, and EDI 214 or API if you want the data in your own TMS. Position also flows to MacroPoint, project44 and Trucker Tools.

10

Who handles service failures?

A named operations contact at the Elmhurst yard, not a queue. Exceptions are flagged by the system before they become late loads; when something does go wrong, the same person who planned the freight owns the recovery and the explanation.

11

What does onboarding look like?

Scope your volume, shifts and dock flow; size trucks, trailers and drivers; write the operating plan (pickup and delivery expectations, trailer requirements, communication procedures); assign named drivers and train them on your site; start with one lane and expand on results. Most accounts are live inside two weeks.

12

What KPIs can you report?

Tender acceptance, on-time pickup, on-time delivery, dwell and detention by location, trailer utilization, claims, cost per load and exception counts, weekly from GMAT.ONE or on demand from the portal.
